The roadside station is the gateway to Kumagawa. The building was designed by the architecture, Keiji Yoshida, in the image of the old Kumagawa post. The station offers 24-hour bathrooms and rest stations as well as Shikisai-kan, with a direct sales depot, restaurants serving local dishes, and a museum introducing the history of the Old Mackerel Road.
