Roadside Station MIKATAGOKO

"Michinoeki Mikata Goko" is located south of the Ramsar-registered Mikata Goko Lakes. The tourist information center provides details on local attractions and accommodations, while the Mikata Goko Nature Observation Building offers in-depth information about the wetlands and birdlife, serving as a gateway for exploring the area. Being the largest plum production area on the Sea of Japan side, the local market offers a wide variety of plum products, showcasing the unique charm of Wakasa Town.
