Rainbow Line

The Mikata Goko Rainbow Line of the prefectural road offers a scenic drive with spectacular views of the Mikata Five Lakes and the Sea of Japan. Further up, accessible via lift or cable car, is the Rainbow Line Summit Park, which was renovated and reopened in April 2020. The park now features five newly built terraces, each offering a unique way to enjoy the views with amenities such as foot baths and sofas. The rose garden, with around 110 varieties and 600 bushes, blooms beautifully twice a year, in spring and autumn. Additionally, the park's café offers original parfaits and sandwiches available for takeout, allowing visitors to enjoy both the delicious treats and the stunning scenery.
